{Gluten free chocolate cake}

Happy 4th of July! In our home we celebrate not only our freedom and celebrate this wonderful country, but we also celebrate our second born's birthday.

At the beginning of this year, my husband decided to cut all wheat and dairy out of his diet
{that's another post entirely, which you can read about here}. Dairy / wheat free eating has come such a long way in the recent years, and here's a favorite, delicious and easy gluten free chocolate cake recipe.
 Here's to the knowledge that you don't have to sacrifice delicious tasting dessert in lieu of eating healthy!

          {you don't have to purchase the book ~ you can find the recipe here:source} Enjoy!!

Oh, that looks yummy. I've always used the Pamela's mix, but almond flour I'm sure is healthier than so much rice flour. Do you actually use the agave or do you use something different? Have you tried the marshmallow frosting?

Shyla ~ it *is* decadent! i use agave, & actually make my own frosting w/ butter & confect. sugar...it's so easy!
we've also crumbled up the cake mixture, & put choc almond ice cream on top for our own "ice cream cake"
You also can make cake pops as well..
